Who the course is for

Must be aged 19 or over and have lived in the UK or EU for a minimum of three years.

For full funding you must be:

  • aged 19 or over
  • receive any state benefit payment (evidence required)
  • unemployed or working less than 16 hours and seeking employment

This course aims to provide learners with the suitable knowledge, guidance, support and understanding that everyone has the right to learn, to be safe and to be respected.

Learners will be able to make sure that they are being provided with a safe and secure learning environment that promotes their health and wellbeing.

Topics covered include:

  • Bullying and ways to deal with it
  • Social and emotional resilience exercises
  • Developing self-awareness
  • Recognising the needs of others
  • Develop reflective skills
