Who this course is for

You must be aged 19 or over and have lived in the UK or EU for a minimum of three years.

For full funding you must be:

  • aged 19 or over
  • receive any state benefit payment (evidence required)
  • unemployed or working less than 16 hours and seeking employment

What will I study?

This course is suitable for those wishing for a career change, to refresh previous training and experience or to regain employment after a career break. It is also suitable for parents and carers of individuals with ADHD.

This is a one-day course that explores ADHD. This is done by exploring the main characteristics and causes of ADHD and strategies to support children and adults with this condition.

You will also examine how this impacts all of the family and what support is available within South Tyneside.
